There doesn't seem to be a simple way to get ALL the paint off these buggers, but some clean off more easily than others. I've mostly been using pure acetone (nail polish remover from Dollar Tree), which removes the outer layers and softens the base shrink-wrap so most of it can be scrubbed off with a nylon brush. A really long soak in Simple Green (like, a week or so) does this almost as well. I haven't tried isopropyl alcohol, but am told that it performs about the same as acetone. Once the brush has done its work, I use a Dremel wire brush to get rid of most of the rest, and then a needle-point tool to scrape out the nooks and crannies. Silver base coats (like on Starscream or Megatron) are the most hassle, because it's not always clear if I've gotten it all, but painting over the softened stuff causes unpleasant results.

I can click on things in my feed and see them, but I can't mark them read or otherwise make any of the overlay buttons work. Anyone else having this problem?

Okay, so I clicked on the suggestion. Wow, it sucks. Just a big pile of "the most recent things from all the people you watch, not sorted by time, with year-old pieces next to today's new stuff." Yep, making things worse so they can say they updated things. Hard pass.

hey can you dye pre exisisting rubber plastic?

Yes, and in general the rubbery stuff seems to take dye better than harder plastics. Of course, you can't dye something to be lighter, or a significantly different color (I can get yellow to be green, but I can't get red to be green).

Also, I almost always paint over the dye, the point of the dye is to make sure the gaps between pieces look better, and to have a solid foundation.

Wow, the new format sucks.

Do you accept request?
Sure, but I tend to draw mainly things that strike my fancy, so no guarantees.
